in the video it never shows how to select certain descendant like "li" when there are multiple descendants on

li is on the page 5 times but you're only supposed to get 3 and you can't do li as a descendant of nav here unfortunately

You don't need to reference the list items ("li") here. The instructions ask you to "select all links inside the <nav> element", and links are implemented using anchor ("a") elements.

You also don't need to name every element in the chain, just the outer container and the final target is enough. So a good selector to use here might be "nav a".

There was also a stray colon in the selector that is not part of CSS syntax.
