In workspace I can't use special characters that would be essential for C#. Like &, *.

Why can't I use special characters while the teacher in the video clearly can use them?

Could you explain more what you mean? Do you mean it won't compile the code that uses those characters, or do you mean that it literally won't type them out when you try using them?
