Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Strings What are Strings?

In workspaces I'm not getting any syntax highlighting. Jason's screen shows that workspaces can do this, why doesnt my?

Workspaces isn't highlighting keywords for ruby. Do I need to enable it somehow?

You just get all-black text or do you get some colors? When I open Workspaces and create an .rb file, I get completely different colors than the ones in the videos, but still, they are colors, it's not all black and white.

Everything is always one color, a light green or teal.

Yeah, the names of the variables and strings look like that. What about end or variable names between the || symbols? Like |contact|?

Everything is always light green no matter what. I'm fairly familiar with text editors and know what I should be seeing. Just don't know why I'm not seeing it.

Thanks for the help!

I think you should contact support and send them some screenshots. They always reply and do their best to help. Maybe there's something wrong on the server side and they are not aware yet.
