Incrementing Challenge

Keep getting the error Use ++ to increment the mBarsCount member field

Thought that is what I did. Any insight?

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void charge() {
    while (!isFullyCharged()) {
      mBarsCount ++;
    }
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

}

Your code is technically fine, but the code checker for these challenges can be quite picky. If your code does not look exactly how it expects it to look it will often mark it as wrong.

The problem in this case is that the challenge checker expects your increment line to look like this:

mBarsCount++;

Notice that there is no space between the variable name and the ++, while it is valid in Java to have a space between them it is more common to not have a space, and therefore the code checker expects there to be no space.

In short all you need to do to complete the challenge is to remove the space in your incrementing code.
