Indentation?..

Why is it important that tags be properly indented?

If you have many lines of code, it makes it much more readable. Imagine trying to read a novel with all the periods, commas, spaces, etc removed.

While it's not mandatory, it definitely helps clean up the code. Indentation essentially helps you figure out what starts where and where it ends.
