INDENTATION KEYBOARD

Could please someone explain me what it means indentation code? I tried with comand } and nothing happens

I think it depends, what program you use for coding, in sublime text for example, if you select all the lines, and press TAB, it indents it for you.

For the workspaces, ctrl/cmd + { or } works for me.
