Inline exports or not?

Why is it that we export the classes inline but we export the constants at the end of the file?

Player.js
const Player = props => {
    // code….
}
export default Player;
AddPlayerForm.js
export default class AddPlayerForm extends Component {
    // code…
}

From the docs:

Note that it is not possible to use var, let or const with export default.
