Install MySQL 5.7.12.0 in a directory of my choice?

Hi All,

I've just downloaded MySQL-installer-community-5.7.12.0.msi and started the install wizard. My C:\ is completely full and I don't have anything I can remove from there.

If I want to install the software on a different drive then is there any way to do this. Note: The current treehouse video shows a directory selection when you choose the type of install you want to do (eg. Developer Default) but the existing version on MySQL.com does not allow you to choose.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Richard

Nevermind, didn't notice that in the teacher's notes there was a link to the MySQL archive which allowed me to find the answer. I've left the question open just in case someone in the future has this same problem
