Whenever I'm installing wordpress on filezilla I get an error: "Could not connect to server" why does that show up ?

35,800 PointsThat means you can't connect to the server. Therefore you won't be able to upload anything. This is usually caused by incorrect credentials. Make sure to double check all your FTP information.

12,133 PointsI checked that my credentials were correct multiple times. Even closed and re opened it and still got the same errors. I searched online and it seems to be an issue with this version of filezilla. The solution provided was to go to File > Site Manager > and change settings to Encryption: FTP (insecure)..I then created the database.. the issue I'm having now is that when I go to my site, I don't get the wordpress install questions.
