instead of if(other.Compare.Tag ("Player")) cant we use other.Tag ("Player") ??

cant we just use other.Tag rather then other.CompareTag
what is the difference between comparetag and tag??

Hi Shabaz,

I'm not seeing a Tag method in the documentation.

There is a variable named tag:

https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Component-tag.html

You could probably do something like

if (other.tag.Equals("Player")) {

and that seems to work when I try it.

But it's probably more straightforward to use CompareTag()
