Internal Server Error upon clicking "comments" on online blog

I followed the directions. then came across the mentioned error when i clicked on a comment in the blog.

I m not sure why this happened, but I have a guess

I have a feeling this happened because of my "better search and replace" plugin.

Do you think I m on the right track? and also, rather than look at varying plugins that we don't really know to be good/bad/ whatever - do you think I might instead benefit from doing some sort of a search and replace directly on the sql database thats live?

Figured out the solution: I had to rewrite the htaccess file. hope this helps others. Here is where I found the solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=63&v=rrYF0DLYakA
