Interpolation and String

println(greeting("Tom")) The line above works, but why below code is not working?

println("Hello (greeting("Tom"))")

(There is a backslash after "Hello " but it seems not appearing in the screen.)

You need to replace the entire println statement with a return statement. It should look like this:

func greeting(person: String) -> String {
    return "Hello \(person)"
}
