CSS Sass Basics Improve Your Workflow with Sass Extend Placeholder Selectors

Is anyone else confused when he is teaching?

Had the same problem with manipulating the DOM, idk there's just something about him to where he eally doesn't explain what he's doing at all. I was able to learn the DOM in an udemy course and I may just have to do the same with Sass...

Not I - I have found Guil to be one of the best and clearest teachers on TH to understand. I enjoy and learn a lot from his courses.

You might try slowing down (or speeding up) the playback pace if that is the issue. Otherwise, just pause/rewind the video a lot after he explains something so you can fiddle with your own workspace at the same time. Steve

I think he's a great teacher but I can see what you mean. I sometimes feel lost as well but I think that's because I want to know why the code he's writing is working the way it does. His CSS is pretty advance so sometimes all of it doesn't make sense.

To help me better understand, I read through all of the HTML and study how he grouped things together, and the classes he used. I also closely review all the CSS so I understand how everything is connected.

I find the best thing for me to retain everything is to try to replicate it on my own. It might slow you down quite a bit however, you'll feel a lot better as you'll understand what's happening.

Aren't you satisfied with the specific teacher?
