Is it ok to open the wp-config.php file in Notepad?

Or does it need to be opened with something else?

Hi Karina,

I'm not really familiar with Notepad, but any editor can be used to work with PHP, so Notepad would be fine.

If you're interested, however, maybe have a look at some of the free editors out there that have a bit more functionality than Notepad. I personally use Atom, but there are many others. Sublime is also very popular.

Hope that helps. Keep Coding! :) :dizzy:
