Is something wrong in my python code?

Below code is giving correct return still I can't pass the challenge. Can anyone tell me where am I wrong?

wordcount.py
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.

def word_count(string):
    words = string.lower().split(" ")

    ret = {}
    for word in words:
        ret[word] = words.count(word)

    return ret

I have found my issue in the code. It was the use of split() not split(" "). Thank you.
