Is the new course "Build a Rails API" relevant to iOS Development?

I hear people say that you need to know JSON and REST, but I'm not sure if I follow this course that it'll be relevant to iOS Development.

Please clarify thanks!

Not really. This course focuses on creating an API strictly in Rails. I can imagine that if you're not a Rails developer, this course would only confuse you. It could be helpful IF you know Rails AND you are developing an iOS app that talks to a Rails API, to know what might be going on on the Rails side.
