Is the site https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html safe to download from? google chrome blocked the download.

I tried to download xampp, from https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html... google chrome blocked the download stating the the site has been compromised. ??????

Apache Friends is a well known site. I'm not sure why Google Chrome might have blocked it, but according to Google Safety Diagnostic, they report the site as safe: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=apachefriends.org

Can confirm. ApacheFriends.org is where you can download XAMPP.

Same here, download crashes for a chrome warning

It seems it is for slow download speed, because the first time I tried I was downloading another program and now I tried again without problem.
