General Discussion

Is there a shortcut to the area where the user is? I want to be better at answering Treehouse Forum questions

Often, I find myself in a question, but have trouble giving it context or the question answerer did not provide enough info.

It would be really nice if there were a link to the problem/video that they are specifically asking about... or maybe it exists and I just don't see it.

Benjamin,

If you look at some of the questions asked, if they're pertaining to a particular code challenge or video it will show the tags associated with that particular question at the bottom of the posters question. You can use this as a 'breadcrumb' to find out in what context their question relates to.

Such as the Track > Course > Lesson > Code Challenge/Video/Quiz

But when you click on it, it only brings up similar questions. It does not appear that there is a way to get to the specific video or problem from the buttons/tags underneath

Correct, it would be a nice feature for it to link back to the actual content, rather than just the tag filter for the forum.

Hey, Benjamin. Sometimes, if the user uses the 'Ask Question' button properly, the quiz/challenge they are asking about will appear on the right side of the question (where the 'Tips for asking questions' section is), but this isn't always the case. This question, for example, has the section the student is asking about appearing on the right.
