General Discussion

Is there a way to start a lesson over? It just seems that It takes me to "resume course" rather than start over???

Sometimes I need to hear things a couple times to have it sink in. There doesn't seem to be a way to start a course over from scratch to recover what you lost. Please help and I apologize if I missed it. Thanks in advance!

Hi Patrick,

You are right, unfortunately there isn't a way to reset a course - but you can go back to previous videos manually and see what you want to see again.

The feature of reseting or restarting a course has been requested many times by Treehouse members, including myself.

I suggest you do the same by contacting help@teamtreehouse.com and ask them why this hasn't been set yet.

Thanks Michael A!

I will contact help@teamtreehouse.com regarding this because I cannot learn this way. This may be my last month... which is my first.

Thanks again!

Patrick, I know everybody has his own learning methods but I wouldn't stop membership because of not being able to reset the course. The content here is FANTASTIC and I can assure you that you will love the learning experience as well.

You are still able to see previous videos you've watched, you just have to manually click each video to see it. I actually do it all the time, since I don't have to re-watch the WHOLE course but specific stuff, I keep going back to the subject and just click the video I want to see.

Thanks, Michael,

It just seems I am having trouble navigating the site. I know how how to make HTML/CSS pages with responsive media queries, but I was hoping to learn more about wordpress, js,and more... So it's not like I don't know how to use a computer, but we have "Tracks", "Library", "Community", and "Workspace"... For people like me there should probable be an instruction manual on how they all coordinate with each other.... Sorry for the long message, I am just frustrated, but you are right on when you say the information here is FANTASTIC! I just wish I knew the method to the madness. For instance, I want to see something again, so I go to what I think it is, and it is a test of knowledge, not the lesson I was looking for.... I need the lesson again to pass the test.

Thanks again, Sir! :)

Patrick, I suggest you to just give it sometime. I understand your frustration and you are COMPLETELY right, but remember we as community should/must provide feedback to Treehouse in order to make it better for us as well as others. don't let these stuff set you back. :D

Happy coding! :)

Thanks for the encouragement Michael! I appreciate your efforts and support. Happy coding to you, too! :) peace out
