It's useful to some extent, but it's no replacement for portfolio. Portfolio means everything when it comes to job seeking. And the reason is obvious if you think about it from an employer's perspective. If you're the owner of a magic shop, are you gonna hire a magican who can't show you one or two magic tricks?
