Is This Course The Same As Word Press Basics?

I have just finished watching the videos in Word Press Basics linked below and I am wondering if that course is the same as this one before I dig into it.

https://teamtreehouse.com/library/wordpress-basics

Here I am referring to the course How To Make A Website With Wordpress. Does anybody know? I am a total beginner in Wordpress. And if I get through this one is there a recommendation on next course to take as I want to be able to build a website from Wordpress by end of July somebody is waiting for me to build a site for them. Right now I am only able to build static sites from HTML/CSS and bits of JavaScript and jQuery like this one:

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Christopher,

I would recommend WordPress basics first as this is a high level overview of the all the settings and options you need to know in the "out of the box" WordPress installation.

How to Make a website with WordPress goes a little further in depth about how to customise a WordPress theme, including it's menus. creating Custom post types but without writing a lot of code.

So go for WordPress Basics first and then How to make a WordPress website. :-)
