Is this exercise broken <a href="pies.html"><li>Pies</li></a> ?

this is my answer to this exercise yet it says i am incorrect. how am i incorrect?

Hi Brian,

I think you need to wrap the link around the word "Pies", inside of the <li> tags. Like this...

<li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>

It is confusing because with the code you entered, the error that comes back is only referencing the pies line, but all three list item links need to have <a> tags inside the <li> tags.

Ah, you just have to move your starting <li> to the front and end it with </li> as shown right here :
