Is this video completely out of place?

Really, once you get to this video it becomes apparent that a lot of other topics should have been covered first. Like, how do you get to this file - I notice that Zac's blog is on a "localhost" whereas my files are on my domain that I bought when I watched the first video. I can find the file in the file manager from webhostingforstudents, though I don't dare edit it at this point. Are there some database videos we should have watched first?

I downloaded all my wordpress files via ftp into a directory on my computer but when I try to look at the site on my own computer I get the error "unable to connect to database". I have xampp running and the files are all in a folder within htdocs.

I guess I have multiple questions. Should we have done all this on our own computers first, and then only uploaded the site later like Zac is apparently doing? And how? So much unanswered with this video.

I see in the "Learn Wordpress Development" track, there is a course called Local Wordpress Development. I guess the info is contained in there - that's next for me. Definitely this last video should be moved out or replaced by something else.

Agreed. I'm watching this video as part of the "WordPress Admin Settings" course which, in turn, is part of the relatively short "Learn WordPress" track. I am completely new to Treehouse an none of this has even been hinted at prior.

So, yeah, I'd say this video doesn't belong in this course.
