JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Random Number Challenge, Part II Solution

issues with line 3

I am not sure what is wrong with my code, specifically line 3. i keep receiving an error message in the console that says there is something wrong with the part of my line 3 that is in quotation marks.

function getRandomNumber( lower, upper ) { if ( isNaN(lower) || isNaN(upper) ) { throw new Error ("both arguments must be numbers"); } return Math.floor(Math.random() * (upper - lower + 1)) + lower; }

console.log( getRandomNumber( 'nine', 24 ) ); console.log( getRandomNumber( 1, 100 ) ); console.log( getRandomNumber( 200, 'five hundred' ) ); console.log( getRandomNumber( 1000, 20000 ) ); console.log( getRandomNumber( 50, 100 ) );

Thank you in advance for clarity.

I think you're missing an "else" in your if/else statement.
