It feels like my solution to this challenge is correct, but I don't understand why it is not accepted.

print(first_and_last_4([1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0])) [1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 0]

print(first_and_last_4('Hello everybody')) Hellbody

slices.py
def first_and_last_4(things):
    first = things[:4]
    last = things[-4:]
    return first + last

I copy pasted your code and it passed. Did you overwrite your code from task 1? You need to keep the code for all tasks.
