it says im not using string interpolation

the error says to use string interpolation but its not working

structs.swift
struct RGBColor {
  let red: Double
  let green: Double
  let blue: Double
  let alpha: Double

  let description: String

  // Add your code below
  init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpha: Double)
  self.red = red
  self.green = green
  self.blue = blue
  self.alpha = alpha

  self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
}
var myColor = RGBColor(red: 10.8, green: 10.8, blue: 10.7, alpha: 10.9)

Hi, it might be due to the fact that you have the body of the init in the same body of the struct. After fixing it, xcode ran the example with no issues.

struct RGBColor {
    let red: Double
    let green: Double
    let blue: Double
    let alpha: Double

    let description: String

    // Add your code below
    init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpha: Double) {
    self.red = red
    self.green = green
    self.blue = blue
    self.alpha = alpha

    self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
    }
}
var myColor = RGBColor(red: 10.8, green: 10.8, blue: 10.7, alpha: 10.9)

Almost everyone has trouble with this challenge and you're closer to the solution than most. You're basically just missing the curly braces for your initializer.

struct RGBColor {
  let red: Double
  let green: Double
  let blue: Double
  let alpha: Double

  let description: String

  init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpha: Double) {
    self.red = red
    self.green = green
    self.blue = blue
    self.alpha = alpha

    self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
  }
}

Keep up the good work! :smile:
