app.js
let firstName = "Carlos";
let lastName = "Salgado";
let role = 'developer';
var msg = ' " ' + firstName +' '+ lastName + ': ' + role.toUpperCase();

Hi Imani, just do not add a space the beginning, the rest of your code is correct. Here is my code that worked to complete the challenge:

let firstName  = "Victor";
let lastName = "Mercier";
let role = 'developer';
let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + ": " + role.toUpperCase()

Hope this helped you better understand the challenge and do not forget you can mark the answer as best answer.
