iOS Swift Basics (retired) Collections What is a Dictionary?

It's calling removeValueForKey an error but my code appears to match the instructor and the error code isn't much help?

Just curious if anyone has worked this out!

dictionaries.swift
let currencies = [ "US": "Dollar", "UK": "Pound", "JP": "Yen" ]
let ukCurrency = currencies.removeValueForKey("UK")

1 Answer

I think for the test you're trying to do, rather than trying to removeValueForKey(), just set it equal to the object.

let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

Thank you sir!
