I've tried it 100 different ways and still can't get it

can't figure out how to select just the 3 'li' under the 'nav' tag

FYI: The solution posed in that other question is way more specific than necessary to pass the challenge.

The instructions say to "select all links in the nav element", but an "li" is a list item. Links are anchor (a) elements.

Then, to limit the links to only those that are in the nav element, you'll probably want to use a descendant selector, which involves specifying the container and the target separated by a space.

This exercise is for practicing ways to select without making any changes to the HTML. While that might be a way to resolve a similar issue in actual practice, this challenge will not accept it.
