my question is this ---> "Add logic to the drive method so that it throws an IllegalArgumentException if there aren't enough bars to support the laps request. Remember it takes 1 bar of energy to go around a lap." This is my code for now, pls help :)

Hi there,

You want to test if the value passed into the method, laps, is greater than barCount. If it is, throw a new IllegalArgumentException. Then else, run the existing lines of code.

So, before you do anything to lapsDriven or barCount, test the size of laps.
