Java web development tech degree has disappeared?

Hi, I was thinking about tech degrees and am pretty close to choosing one, but the techdegree I was quite close to choosing suddenly disappeared from the list of options. Where there used to be about 6, now I only see 4 being offered. So I was looking at the Java techdegree before it vanished.

Will Java be coming back or does its removal mean that I should really pick something else instead?

Greetings sleconte!

This is just a temporary situation. We're still dedicated to supporting our current students in the Java and Android Techdegrees and helping them progress through the program until graduation. These Techdegrees aren't closing, but we are not, at this time, able to accommodate large numbers of new students in these programs.

Our team working on the Java and Android Techdegrees are being fully utilized and we cannot expand the program with new students and still service those Techdegrees at the level that we want, and at the level which students have come to expect.
