JSON formatters

If you don't like http://prettyjson.com/ I can recommend you Safari addon JsonView. It format JSON automatically if it's requested in Safari. You can download it here: https://github.com/acrogenesis/jsonview-safari

If you want some desktop application, I can recommend VisualJSON. You can download it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/visual-json/id488709442

I have to recommend the chrome app PostMan (https://www.getpostman.com/). It is the way my boot camp teachers would test APIs (rather than playgrounds). FREE, of course, for everything that I have ever needed so far (which, admittedly, isn't too sophisticated).
