Just want to know?

Whay Gail doesn't bind the newGuestSubmitHandler handler to button or input, instead he binds it to the form it self?

On submit is, as far as I know, a form only event. Binding the event to the form submission will also let you do things like hit enter, instead of exclusively hitting the "Submit" button.
.
Even if you did bind the event to the button, something still needs to disable the form submission event from reloading the page.
