Java Java Objects (Retired) Meet Objects Creating New Objects

Keep getting the Error "Please create a new GoKart object using the new keyword" Don't know what to do....

Need some guidance, what is the task asking of me?

Example.java
public class Example {

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        System.out.println("We are going to create a GoKart");
    }
  GoKart kart = new GoKart("red");
}

The problem is that you declared your object outside of the "main" method.

Put your

 GoKart kart = new GoKart("red");

inside the second curly brackets
