Kindly find my mistakes.

Its showing correct on xcode playground but not at this place. why?

arrays.swift
// Enter your code below
var arrayOfInts: [Int] = [1,2,3,4,5,6]
arrayOfInts.append(7)
arrayOfInts += [8]
let result = arrayOfInts[5]
// where i am doing wrong in retriving 5th item? Kindly help me.

1 Answer

Only two:

// Enter your code below
var arrayOfInts = [1,2,3,4,5,6]
arrayOfInts.append(7)
arrayOfInts += [8]
let value = arrayOfInts[4]

The first error is that the editor asked you to name the constant value, not result. The second is that the 5th item in the array has the index of 4, not 5, as array indexes are zero-based, i.e., start with 0, not 1.
