Language Independence for data science course

I'm very interested in your new data science course, however, Python has never worked for me. Ruby works much better for my purposes and understanding. Is there anyway for this course (or a future course) to be language independent or at least point to alternative ruby gems to match the python ideas?

If you're interested in doing some Ruby scientific computing, I suggest you check out SciRuby.

Data science can be language independent, but you'll find that certain languages are better suited for it, whether it's because of their community, the maturity of their scientific libraries, or the speed of the language's execution.
