Laravel 5 is very different from Laravel 4 so this course is of little use!

I am so confused with this course.

https://laracasts.com/series/laravel-5-fundamentals it's free here. He does very good job. He sounds like the code combat head dev.

Focus on the blade, routes and model... it doesnt change from 4-5.1 you can always look at laracast for other tutorials

I Agree, Laravel 4 is completly diferente from laravel 5.1

Definitely check out Laracasts as Jason linked -- I was finding the treehouse php courses way too vague and basic, but Laracasts has a php bootcamp course which is fantastic as well as Laravel 5+ video courses, and am now finally starting to get my head around it all!
