Last challenge[Part2]: Add new route to multiply and set 5 as default for arguments

The error is: Didn't get a 200 for multiply/10/10? why is 200 expected?

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/multiply')
@app.route('/multiply/<num1>/<num2>')
def multiply(num1=5, num2=5):
  return "{}".format(num1*num2)

Hi Amresh

Status code 200 means a successful http response. You must convert num1 and num2 to a integer when you pass it to the view and convert the result back to a string.

from flask import Flask

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/multiply')
@app.route('/multiply/<int:num1>/<int:num2>')
def multiply(num1=5, num2=5):
  return "{}".format(str(num1*num2))
