Launch Console not working

I am working through the console phase videos but the treehouse console will not load fully.

I assume because I am working at a Panera Bread. I was at McDonalds but changed to panera in hopes of it working but its not.

What other alternatives do I have? And how do I get there? I am using mac osx 10.9.

Can you provide a little more information about what exactly is happening. How far along do you get in the process?

Dave McFarland it opens then just stays at the "we are setting up your computer" window and keeps repeating the funny phrases. I am moved from Panera to a University Library and still having trouble.

Using Chrome.

Dave McFarland, I moved from my laptop to an iMac connected by ethernet cable and I am still having problems with the online console not loading fully. It is still just going through the loading screen repeating the funny messages. Is there anything on your end you can do?

Or me either.

me neither.

Dual boot linux mint :)

I don't use osx. But osx I believe is bash based and has a terminal you could use. File systems/pathways may be different; but the commands still apply.

HI carman arrington

Nicholas is talking about the web-based console that we offer in some of our courses. It's a browser window that shows an instance of a browser console that you can interact with.

I know. I just thought it would be easier using a terminal. The web console hasn't worked, in the past. When I first started, it was down for quite awhile.

Yes, if you have a terminal (Mac or Linux) it's probably best to use that -- it's obviously the real thing, so best to learn on that. Windows doesn't have a console by default, so the Treehouse console can be a good way to learn.

I'm using terminal for now.

If it makes you feel better it's not working for me either :)

Not working here on an iMac. I'm just using Terminal. Haven't had any issues doing the same things.

Yeah, in my opinion that's all people should use lol :)

The Workspace Console keeps losing its connection and it makes following this video very difficult.
