You have some syntax issues:

  • jQuery calls start with a dollar symbol in front of the parentheses :point_right: $
  • when calling a method (like "show"), you need a pair of parentheses after the name

And as Jamie suggested, the instructions have asked you to use ":hidden" in your selector.

Also, you won't need to use the "hide" method for this challenge.
