"shout.js " is the correct file given in the question, but i still get it wrong, asking me if "shout.js" is the correct file. I don't know what is wrong with the code

index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>

</body>
  <script src="=shout.js"></script>
</html>
shout.js

Two things:

  1. You're still including a "=" before the filename
  2. The <script> tag should be inserted right before the closing </body> tag.
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
    <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <script src="shout.js"></script>
  </body>
</html>

for the challenge to work, the script needs to be inserted in the shout.js file, not inline in the HTML

You're right. I think Mathew was having trouble with the first question in the challenge, though.

Is working now. Thanks guys
