CSS jQuery Basics (2014) Creating a Simple Lightbox Perform: Part 1

Logging href to the console... why?

I understand how in making the lightbox we are stopping the action of going to the link when we click the image. However, I do not understand why we are also logging the url of the link to the console. What's the purpose of this?

The purpose is just for testing purposes to make sure that it gets the correct href with that method.
