Looking for QA volunteers for the upcoming Ethical Design course

Hi students,

I’m VERY EXCITED to announce I’ll be launching a course on Ethical Design soon! The course explores the moral implication of one's software design/development and how those decisions affect society. There are several real-world examples and motion graphics to keep it engaging and relatable. I’m looking for QA (quality assurance) volunteers. No prior experience necessary; devs and designers are welcome!

I need ideally five students to review the course before it launches. Feedback can include:

  • Content that seems out of logical order?
  • Broken links?
  • Missing Teacher’s Notes?
  • Captions incorrectly transcribed?
  • Confusing quiz questions?

Or any other issues that catch your attention. This feedback greatly improves our content here at Treehouse, so I thank you in advance for volunteering. With QA there are a few other things you should know. Progress isn't recorded so you won't get a checkmark. Badges won't get sent, sorry! You also might need to manually go to the next stage in the course. Those are the quirks of QA mode.

Comment below if you’re interested, and I’ll be in touch about how to get the process started. Tentative timeline:

  • Start QA on Monday, October 12th or Tuesday, October 13th
  • End QA on Friday, October 16th
