Probably I did that and I checked I saved it with .html file extension and I typed hello world without any tag and it's working the text got appeared in the browser

Can you answer the question --- I'm so very lost !!!??

Could you give a brief explanation of the problem so I can help you?

Love to !! Nick said -- open notepad on windows type Hello World. Then save to desktop and call it index.html. I have txt doc or all files. So I saved as all files on desktop and I can bring it up. What is throwing me is when I open google chrome, I don't know how to get a blank screen as he shows ?????

When you click at the index.html in the desktop it will not show Hello World? Or you will directly go to chrome?

When I saved it I titled it TREEHOUSE. doc; it won't let me do html, cause I don't find that extension anywhere. I did pull up google, and then opened notepad. His example shows his browser as a blank screen. Google opens with my "frequent used files ??

NOPE, it is saved as .txt but still can't get html !!!!

Then you have to select all files and type index.html

OK, did that !! as I was waiting for your answer -- now --- Nick said go to web browser, and you should see what you typed. I went there, I saw nothing !! My Google opens with my favorite websites used " So where do I see what I typed ??? In notepad or on the browser ????

Scary, I changed the index to index.html !! Then, when I open the document it was there and there is also a blank page, I think we did it !!!! Thanks !!!
