Making off-canvas navigation toggle in smaller devices

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how to make off-canvas navigation pop in only in small device whereas on big devices we would a normal bar navigation? I mean just like Foundation official site itself when we resize it to small screen

You could use a media query to hide it and then an attributes selector to set open/close nav. This would be making the menu button a checkbox and disabling it on all but small screens.
