MAMP current version doesn't seem to let you change the directory location

Hello,

It seems that the MAMP version I just downloaded does not allow you to change the location of the folder under preferences. Do you know if there is another way, or did they change this to only being supported in the pro version?

thanks

Hi Shannon,

Sorry if you've already tried this but this is how I get to it:

  • Make sure you've stopped servers
  • Click on Preferences...
  • Click on the Web Server tab at the top
  • Click on the ... next to Document Root

Any luck with that?

Hey Rich, thank you for helping. Didn’t turn out for me though even when i stopped the server, additionally found out a secondary method to change the folder, just drag and drop the folder on the path in the interface, where it’s showing the default path. After letting it go there, it changes the root folder.
