MAMP Install: Unable to reach Index page

Downloaded MAMP (free) unable to load blank index page per video tutorial. File listed in Turn On error instructions (teacher's notes) not found, What I get is a "placeholder" page that says to replace or delete but I am unable to do so...?

I am having the same exact problem. Looks like no one answered your question. It really ticks me off that the video instructions are incorrect. Why is no one on this site making corrections???

If you are on Windows, go to your MAMP folder, then htdocs. Next, delete the index.php file (that's the placeholder page) or replace it with your own.
