Manipulating the lists

Are there any methods for manipulating with lists in Sass, something like push, pop, etc. which are common for other languages? Is there a sort or rsort method, so that we do not need to write, say, from $val to 1? I mean, I see that Sass became a really programming language, so these functions would fit nicely into it. PS: FYI, I was the fifth Beatle. :-)
