Media queries and flex-grow

Hi,

In this example, why has Guil only declared the flex-grow value of 1 in the small media query?

In the larger media query, he only defines a flex basis value?

I hope someone can help.

Because he is basing the media queries on min-width, the styling in the "smaller" query still applies for the "larger" query, unless a property is explicitly defined under the latter.
