17,730 Pointsyour template line should be the name of your parent theme. It probably should read (unless your making a child of a child) /* Theme Name: Twenty Twelve Child Template: twentytwelve */ @import url("../twentytwelve/style.css");

Courses Plus Student 157 PointsSorry I was mistaken. This is the first time I have tried to setup a child theme in 3.8.1 and it is giving me errors.
prior all I would have to do is create the directory and a basic style.css and all was good.
For some reason when I activate the new child theme it does not stay activated.
Here is my style.css
